The Development of Low-altitude Economy in Hebei Province Has to Find a New Path by Hebei Academy of Sciences points out that Hebei Province’s low-altitude economy should be deployed from a strategic perspective of the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. It emphasizes fully leveraging Hebei’s airspace resources around Beijing and Tianjin, focusing on key technologies of low-altitude safety, and building a comprehensive Beidou-based spatio-temporal network for low-altitude flights in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei which might serve as a digital foundation for low-altitude safety of this triangle region. It calls for accelerating the formation of four major application scenarios: a low-altitude economic innovation port, a low-altitude safety testing ground, a low-altitude logistics demo base and the organization of low-altitude economic innovation competitions. Key efforts shall be made to cultivate two major industrial clusters in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei: low-altitude smart manufacturing and low-altitude ancillary services. The report in its conclusion stresses the importance of strengthening low-altitude services and support systems in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei to ensure flyable, visible, responsive and manageable low-altitude flights.
